About The CLA
Providing Help and Advice
The CLA retains its own in-house professional advisory team which includes barristers, tax specialists, planning experts and surveyors who provide unlimited, independent and impartial information on a wide range of issues. This is only a phone call, or email, away and free to members.
CLA professional staff prepare a wide range of Guidance Notes which provide practical advice and assistance on problems faced by members. All CLA Guidance Notes are available on the website, free to Landowning and Business & Professional members.
CLA Advisory Handbooks provide unparalleled technical treatment of significant issues for CLA members. They are available at discount to all Landowning and Business & Professional members. The range of CLA Advisory Handbooks is regularly published in the CLA magazine.
CLA Regional Teams
Every CLA member has a regional team to provide the first point of contact in seeking information or advice on a variety of topics including diversification, grants, rights of way, planning issues and dealing with bureaucracy. Their fund of local knowledge enables them to help members expertly on many issues. Contact details for each regional director follow.
